Playback Quality

The Playback quality setting affects playback over WiFi and mobile data. If you enable the Download music option, your downloaded music will be played instead, and so the Download quality setting applies.

The available options are:

  • Low (128kbps)
  • Medium (192kbps)
  • High (256kbps)
  • Very High (320kbps)
  • High Fidelity (HiFi AAC)

iOS & Android

To change playback quality:

  1. Open the app and tap the Settings tab.
  2. Tap Playback.
  3. Tap Playback Quality.
  4. Tap the desired playback quality.
  5. Tap Done.

Web Player

To change playback quality:

  1. Open the menu and click Settings.
  2. Under the Player section, open the Playback quality dropdown.
  3. Select the desired playback quality.
